  How do I get to Northstar Tennis?
We are located just North of Lake Tahoe, California.

  Do you have tennis/lodging packages and how do I reserve them?
Yes. The Tennis Lovers Special features lodging in an on-site condo. Walking distance to the courts.

  What are the dates and hours of operation?
Our season begins Memorial Day weekend and goes thru mid October (weather permitting). Adult camps start at 9:00 a.m. Junior camps start in the afternoon. Adult Camps | Junior Camps
  What are the NTRP levels for campers?
Our 5-day camps are levels 2.5-4.5 and are grouped according to ability as close as possible. Weekend camps are suitable for beginners 2.0-4.5. People who have never played are recommended to participate in Tennis Welcome Center activities or take private lessons. Adult Camps | Junior Camps
  What is the ratio of coach to students for camps?
The average is 4 students to a coach with a maximum of 6. Our coaches keep the groups moving with creative, energetic fun drills.
  What is the format of the camp?

  Can I attend camp for less than the full time period?
Campers who commit to the 2 or 5 day camp packages have priority, however, if space is available and players match well with the group we can pro-rate for one day or multiple days.
  Are the pros nice, knowledgeable and fun?
All of the pros are USPTA or USPTR certified. The coaches are hired for their love of people of all ages, the game, and teaching. They are truly passionate about their profession. Meet our pros
  Do you help set up matches?
Our pros and staff are great at helping you find a match, drilling partner or a game of doubles. We also have a list of locals and visitors that are interested in playing. A good way to meet players is our fun mixers on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.
  How do I reserve the courts?
Courts can be reserved the day before after 12 p.m. by calling (530) 562-0321. Only 1 court per hour per household. If courts are available at time of arrival, more courts may be booked. (Must be lodging at Northstar.)
  What are some of the other activities I can do?
Northstsar has a wide variety of activities. Besides tennis, we have an 18 hole championship golf course, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, skating, concerts, movies, sushi, volleyball, fly fishing, and all beach and lake activities, such as kayaking, parasailing, jetskiing.
  Are there any social events?
There are tennis socials that happen every week on Tuesday and Saturday evening. There are on-going events at Northstar thoughout the summer. Go to www.northstarattahoe.com for a calendar of events and all resort offerings.
  Can I take lessons or use the facility if I'm not staying at the resort?
Guests who are actively taking lessons may be put on a daily guest list to participate in lessons, camps and  tennis events. PLEASE NOTE: Guests are not allowed to use the Recreation Center facilities unless they are staying at the resort or are an invited guest of a property owner or renter.
  What is the climate like?
Tahoe has a very unique, ideal summer climate. The day's are in the 80's and the evenings and mornings are 50-60 degrees. There is very little or no rain during the summer months. The climate lends itself to a perfect tennis vacation.
